Our Training Schedule

The Old Dominion Rottweiler Klub holds training sessions
every Sunday morning:
Tracking begins at 7:30 am in Haymarket, VA
Obediance and Protection begins at 9:00 am
at 11910 Valley View Drive, Nokesville, VA 20181. Click Here for a Map

1. Guests are welcome at our club and are invited to visit the club up to two times before joining.

2. What is Schutzhund? Click here

Key things you will need to know for your first visit:
  1. Because safety is a priority, your dog will need to be contained when not being trained. ALL DOGS MUST BE IN A CRATE. NO EXCEPTIONS!!

  2. Bring food and a ball (or a favorite toy). Hot dogs are easy to eat and inexpensive treats for training.

  3. Make sure that you have a sturdy collar and leash. While fur savers and a leather leash is preferred, an inexpensive nylon buckle collar (not the kind with a plastic clips that slide into each other) and a sturdy nylon leash are perfect for your first visit.

  4. All dogs must have a current Medical Record on file showing they are current on all vaccinations OR a current titer in order to train, this includes bordetalla. Please bring a copy with you when you first come out to the club.
